Service businesses
Booking, jobs and payments for salons, cleaners and trades
A service business depends on its booking calendar. Each booking needs the right slot at the right branch. Reminders must really arrive, and extra work must be added to the bill. I took over and stabilised the booking system of a multi-branch salon in Tasmania. I worked on a marketplace where clients post field-service jobs and pay freelancers. I also built the scheduling screens of an AI appointment-agent dashboard.
Problems I solve here
Bookings that ignore the branch, the service or the local time
Reminders marked as sent when nothing was delivered
Extra materials and overtime that are never added to the bill
A slow mobile site, so customers leave before they book
